University of Minnesota – Twin Cities
University of Minnesota Twin Cities has over 6,400 international students between grad and undergrads. Bridges International can be summed up with the 4 S’s.
Social Connections – We help provide social opportunities for International students. Some of the events we do include meals together, nature outings, conferences locally and around the country, sports, and holiday events.
Student Leadership – We want to provide opportunities for students to be developed and grow as leaders. We have a core group of leaders as well as a student volunteer team. Student leaders bring fresh ideas and creativity to our organization.
Spiritual Conversations – Bridges International is a Christian based organization, however we are welcoming and accepting of students from all different faiths and backgrounds. While not all of our events have planned spiritual content we do offer opportunities to learn more about God such as a weekly bible exploration group and at our Bridges Cafe.
Service Opportunities – We believe in serving our community, campus, and city. From time to time we will provide opportunities to help serve by packing food at feed my starving children, providing supply kits to the homeless, and more.
